So lots of stuff has been happening lately.
Apparently, everybody I know is falling apart at the seams. My sister, a friend, and my mom all have medical things, but kind of just bring it up in a casual way. "Oh, didn't I tell you? I had to go to the dermatologist to get an infection cut out?"
And I'm all like, "Whut?"
It's kind of strange.
Steve Jobs died. That's sad. Everybody has heard everybody else talk about it, and I already wrote about it on dA, so I'm not going to go into it here. But it is sad.
I'm going to the zoo this weekend to draw animals. That's fun! I'm really excited for it. Animation is so far turning out to be a lot of work, but it's endlessly rewarding, and for homework I get to do things like draw kid Tarzan over and over again.
I'll take that sort of homework any day.
I have a lot of art stuff going on. I know I keep saying that. But I actually do. I have to go through everything and get photos taken and things scanned, though. I might do that this weekend. But probably not, knowing myself as well as I do. I'm waiting for my notebook to fill up, then I'll scan that in one giant session...but my non-drawing works I'll have to photograph, which is kind of an issue because my sister has my camera right now.
Bitch be crazy.
Exciting, exciting stuff in life!
Finally, I entered the Adobe Imaginations Challenge, but I won't hear word back until at least October 8th. But there is another contest period that I'm creating something for -- I'm going to do my best! The last work I submitted was unfortunately a little rushed, since I only found out about it a week before the 3rd period ended, and I wanted to submit something in that one too. I ended up just slapping something together. It doesn't look bad, but...it could be better.
We'll see what happens.
