This week in existentialism

This week was absolutely exhausting. There were so many papers and projects and early mornings and beginnings of work and things on the top of the mind. It was not conducive to life.

I just want to have lots of time to create a lot of pretty things.
But that won't be happening for a while...

In other news, I've discovered that the existentialist philosophy really lines up with my own way of thinking. 
If more people would take responsibility for their own actions and self-actualization, we might actually be able to get things done in the world. 

Things recommended this week:
No Exit by Sartre (a lovely little play that demonstrates in what ways people make their own hells)
The Myth of Sisyphus by Albert Camus (short and thought provoking take on an old myth)
