So, I have one more class before I leave for a spectacular spring break! Our school does it freakishly early, but whatever.
Imma be in a cabin in Michigan, which makes me excited because I'll really have nothing to do but hang with people, do art, and sleep. Or maybe hike or something. Who cares, it'll be fun.
Hopefully I'll get some good sketches in that time. I already have some stuff I need to scan, so maybe that'll push me to get off my lazy ass and do that.
Cuz I hate scanning. But it has to happen.
Also, we watched a movie called "Koyaanisqatsi" in my Foundations II class (or foundations in three-dimensional design). It has nothing to do with art, which is fairly normal for that class, but it was pretty interesting. "Koyaanisqatsi" essentially means world out of balance in the Hopi language, and the movie is all about that. The score was composed by Phillip Glass (who's pretty awesome, I might add), and the movie lacks dialogue. It's more-or-less a stream of clips about our society.
Pretty interesting, but don't watch it if you're tired.
Anyhoo, I've got to go draw naked people.
